What's up at the St. George Children's Museum in 2023?

Jan 23, 2023 11:58 AM

Sonya Darter joined the St. George Children’s Museum as Executive Director in 2021. In this role, she is working to provide new opportunities for children and families to discover, imagine, and create together.

She brings with her over 10 years of leadership experience in children’s museums, and 20 years of experience in science and technology firms.

The museum's director, a former Rotarian, moved to southern Utah from Illinois to be close to family in Salt Lake City and is enjoying the beautiful scenery, kind-hearted people, and high quality of life in Washington County.

On Monday, January 30, 2023 SGR will celebrate 92 years of doing good in the community, the Utah Rotary district and the world!  There will be games, laughter ... and cake.  This will be a great opportunity to invite family and friends, neighbors and co-workers who might be wondering what Rotary is all about!

The "Is it FUNNN" Committee guarantees this will be a fun break from your work day ... and a great opportunity to introduce Rotary to those in the community.  Come one, come all.
