Our 121 trees - valued at $7500 - have arrived and will be planted at Worthen Park in partnership with SG City Parks and Recreation and TreeUtah on Mon., May 1 at 5 pm.
Please bring your neighbors, friends, family members, gloves and shovels and join us at Vernon Worthen Park ... prior to our Latin Appreciation Day party at the same location.
There will be NO MEETING on May 1, but we hope you will join us for tree planting followed by a "party in the park!"
Bring family, friends and potential members of SGR for food and fun at this fiesta.
Ironman packet stuffing is Wednesday
Those who signed up to stuff packets for the North American Ironman 70.3 Championship on Wednesday, May 3 ... please be reminded we will meet at Town Square at 2:30 pm.
Ironman organizers think it is going to take until 6 pm ... but experienced Rotarians who have worked the Huntsman World Senior Games know we will be done much sooner.

District Conference is this weekend ... still time to register!
District Conference RY2022-23 begins a few short days from now on Thursday, May 4 when Governor Jose Velasco and Rotarians from throughout D5420 will “Celebrate Imagination.”
It will be a high-energy event with a celebration of DG Jose Velasco's leadership and recognition of good done by many throughout the year.
Time is running out so register TODAY at https://www.5420dc.org or in-person at the Midvalley Center for the Performing Arts in Taylorsville prior to the District Business Meeting beginning at 3 p.m.
On Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. Rotarians from SGR and some of the other clubs in WashCo will compete in a bowling challenge in the B Lounge at Fiesta Fun Center.
There are four lanes in the B Lounge and each lane can accommodate 8 bowlers (or would-be bowlers) no matter your skill level ... but "ringers" (among family members and friends) are definitely welcome to join our team.
Watch for more information coming soon ... but please mark your calendar and plan to participate in this FUNNN activity to also include getting better acquainted with Rotarians from other clubs.

Despite the belief polio has been eradicated and is no longer a threat, it still exists so PLEASE won't you help us achieve RI's goal of ZEROby joining the Polio Plus Society at just $8.50 per month until polio is - finally and forever - eradicated from the earth, cause this fight isn't over til its over!
