We thought our numbers would be down a little on Monday, November 25 because of the Thanksgiving holiday but 23 Rotarians, prospective Rotarians and friends of Rotary showed up at the Utah Food Bank to bag apples (thankfully, instead of onions) for the UFB's mobile units to distribute to hungry men, women, boys and girls. Thanks, everyone, for your help during this busy holiday week!

Your "ticket" to this certain-to-be-memorable event is a bag of canned or boxed food for the Utah Food Bank.
There will be an "ugly sweater" contest, entertainment and a simple "service above self" project for which each Rotarian is asked to bring 25-30 of something (for instance, an orange, apple, a small 2025 pocket calendar or packet of tissues or a holiday treat) to put in a stocking for someone who needs some Christmas cheer.
It's going to be FUNNN so please plan to join us.
Bellringers for the Salvation Army's most important annual fundraiser are still very much needed any day between Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 24 at any of 15 locations around town, including Albertson’s, Smith’s, Harmon’s, Hurst Ace Hardware or Walmart’s in Washington County (some have two doors so need two bellringers).
Choose a 2-hour shift anytime between 10 a.m. – noon, noon – 2 p.m., 2 -4 p.m. or 4 – 6 p.m.
If you can take a shift, sign up online at www.registertoring.org or call the Salvation Army directly to make our own Bob Schmig smile!!!

This week in Pakistan,a shocking number of 6 new cases of wild polio with paralysis were diagnosed bringing the worldwide total in 2024 to 78 (compared to 12 at the same time in 2023). Fifty-five are in Pakistan and 23 in Afghanistan.
Please sign up for the Polio Plus Society by committing just $8.50 a month or $100 a year until the wild polio virus is finally and forever eradicated! Then the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will match it 2x1. But it can't happen unless we all jump into the fight!!!
