On Monday, December 8, Cad and Karrie Cauley became SGR's 9th couple Rotarians, bringing our total membership to 73! Cad - and known to his family and friends as a bonafide workaholic - is "retired" from real estate and is happiest when busy with projects, including remodeling the couple's Bloomington home and fixing things for anyone. Karrie, also retired from real estate, loves to volunteer, travel and spend time with the couple's blended family, which includes 15 children.

SG Rotarians are still desperately needed for two hours as bell-ringers any day (except Sunday) through Christmas Eve, but specifically Monday, December 15 when we will not be meeting for lunch anyway.

Merry Christmas to SGR's October PGA volunteers: Santa invites you to the first of two designated "volunteer play days" on Tuesday, January 13 at the discounted price of $150 (plus charges for caddy and cart) for your “service above self” managing the gallery for the PGA TOUR.
Play begins with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. You will be playing in assigned groups with preset hole assignments. You will be required to check in for your tee time at least one hour before the shotgun.
Register for this date HERE. You have until New Years Day2026 to RSVP at this link or until the RSVP list is filled -- whichever comes first. Please note there are only (120) spots available due to the shotgun format.
FYI: We've recently banked$5500 for SGR's "service above self" at the PGA TOUR in October but that's not even close to the amount we received in the past from this event. Still, we hope to be invited back in October 2026 to support the PGA and earn funds to do "more good in the community and the world" ... can we count on your help?
