Regional Rotary Meeting

This meeting will be a "first" in a very long time - if ever - when members of ALL Rotary clubs in Washington County (St. George Sunrise, Washington City, Hurricane Valley, and Veterans Rotary Clubs) will join with SGR at the Abbey Inn to discuss ways in which we can collaborate and maybe find SGR's elusive "signature project" needed to increase our local presence.  Come one, come all.

Bring your ideas, questions, as well as friends, neighbors, co-workers or others who may have experessed an interest in "what's Rotary?"

Tentative unveiling of the "Forever Dixie" monument

The unveiling of the restored "Forever Dixie" monument on the SE corner of Town Square is still tentative based on stonemason Paul Lillywhite's completion of the work on this 88-year-old structure, but when it is finalized we will invite Rotarians and all donors who made this project possible. Thanks to fundraiser Dan McArthur who called upon his friends who feel strongly about their alma mater ... and to Durant McArthur who contributed his historical knowledge to create the plaque which tells the story of Dixie College from its days as Dixie Academy to its name change to Utah Tech.

This is a wonderful project and one which will show our community another of the diverse projects St. George Rotary willingly takes on!
